CLASSIC INCA TRAIL
The Inca Trail is the most famous ancient circuit of America. Elapses for 3 to 4 days of hiking along ridges and cloud forests, up to the incredible Machu Picchu sanctuary as the Incas did in ancient times.

DAY 1.- CUSCO – Km. 82 – LLACTAPATA – WAYLLABAMBA.
Pick up from hotels in our mobility in morning 6.30 to 7.00 am. We will leave Cusco toward the whereabouts "Km. 82", where we will serve the first box lunch here the guide will give us the information about activities of the day. It is the responsibility of the passenger identify with their original passport (the same who made the booking) in the case of a student shall be identified by your student card (ISICCARD) at the first checkpoint.
Continuing our journey accompanied by "Quechua porters", we advance our trip through the fertile valleys along the Urubamba River with a magnificent view of the snowy and glacier "Veronica", then continue to Llactapata, an ancient Inca city that guarded the entrance to two valleys, place where was dwelling the Inca. There, from a privileged position, the guide will give us an explanation about the significance of the area with a magnificent landscape, then we will hike to 1.30 hrs to Wayllabamba campsite, after a short climb up to 3000 meters and 12 ° C. We serving tea at 17.30 approx. And dinner at 19.00 hrs.
DAY 2.- WAYLLABAMBA – WARMIHUAÑUSCA – PACAYMAYO.
We started the day at 6:00 and we will have 30 minutes for grooming and also prepare our backpacks. We serve breakfast in our dining tent. Following the tour the first part of our journey in strenuous climb will take us from the Inca village Wayllabamba until Warmihuañusca pass (the passage of the dead woman) at 4200 m.a.s.l, prior to this point we have a coffee break, is the highest part of the route, which takes about 4 or 5 hours. From there a panoramic view of singular beauty of two valleys is appreciated. We will continue the hike, but this time we go down by 1.30 hours to the Pacaymayo campsite. Lunch will be served at Camp Pacaymayo. The tea will be served at 17.30 and 19.00 dinner approx.
DAY 3.- PACAYMAYO – RUNKURAKAY – SAYACMARCA – PHUYUPATAMARCA – WIÑAYWAYNA.
We started the day at 6.00 am and have 30 minutes for grooming and also to prepare the backpacks, then serve us breakfast in our dining tent. The main guide will give us the information of the activities of the day and continue with the tour.
This day we walk by a special stretch of the Inca Trail, which is very well preserved. We will cross ancient archaeological remains covered by a dense tropical forest, then visit Runkurakay and Sayacmarca. After this point, only 15 minutes of walking we serve lunch and then continue walking. Arrive at Phuyupatamarca (city above the clouds) with a spectacular view of several peaks of the Andes, from there peak, we descend for 2 hours to Winaywayna campsite. This is probably the most spectacular archeological site by travel performed in a lush forest covered with clouds flowers and an enigmatic story. At this point the service warm water showers which is accessed by only S / 5.00 nuevos soles (US. 3.00) is available.
Then at 17.30 hrs will serve tea.
In the evening enjoy an excellent dinner and as is tradition the group conduct a voluntary collection to deliver the tip to the group of native Quechua porters who looked after us on this hike.
DAY 4.- WIÑAYWAYNA – MACHU PICCHU
We started the day at 4.00am and get breakfast at 4.30am.
The departure time of the group will at 5.30 am heading for the rainforest, we arrive at "Intipunku" (Sun Gate) in an hour and a half approx., We come to Machu Picchu at 08.00 am. Here is where the walkers can leave backpacks in luggage storage, after a 20 minute we can enter to "the city of the Incas" Machu Picchu, where we will make a full tour approximately 3 hours arranging after it a time to make a personal exploration of the Inca city or if you want we can climb the mountain of Wayna Picchu (young Mountain).
As a group, we will set a specific hour and place to meet in the village of Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu town) for lunch. Then we will return to Ollantaytambo - Cusco.
