This tour is a combination of two fantastic destinations: Cusco and Puno, both cities come together to provide a quick overview of ancient Peruvian culture. Cusco was the capital of the "Inca Empire", a combination of Inca architecture with Spanish influence that has shaped a city to surprise and seduce all who visit.

With excellent hotels, good restaurants and lots of crafts, Cusco has beautiful places to visit such as the Cathedral of Cusco, also known as the Cathedral Basilica of the Virgin of the Assumption, is the largest religious monument in the city, is located in northeast of the Plaza de Armas. In the past this place was the "Suntur Wasi" or "Palace of Viracocha Inca." Inside has passages leading to the temples of the "Triumph" and "Church of the Holy Family." The Coricancha, initially named "Inti Kancha". The meaning in current language is "Golden Enclosure" in the past, was one of the most respected and revered temples in the Inca Empire as reverence he surrendered the "Sun" or "Inti" god. The region of Puno saw the development of the most important pre-Inca cultures: Tiahuanaco. Puno is famous for holding the "Fiesta de la Virgen Candelaria" each year receives thousands of visitors and devotees who come to witness the festival. Among the places you can visit are: Floating Islands of Uros. They are a group of islands made of reeds and located on Lake Titicaca. Today we have to visit the Sacred Valley of the Incas, this was the center of the agricultural wealth of the Incas. We will visit the archaeological site of Pisac and Craft Market, Urubamba, Fortress and Citadel of Ollantaytambo, Chinchero and  his church.

You will be transferred to the train station to go to Machu Picchu.

We take them from your hotel to the bus station, heading to Puno. We will be visiting the following archaeological remains:

ANDAHUAYLILLAS: Built in the late sixteenth century, one of his murals is signed by "Luis de Riaño," dated to 1626. It was under the patronage of San Pedro, although the main altar is presided by the Virgin of the Rosary.

We will depart from your hotel to start the tour.

We recommend you wear comfortable shoes to climb to the top of the island, so it is advisable to bring warm clothes and drinking water.

Taquile is reached after three hours away by boat.

The island is located 30.5 km east of the city of Puno on Lake Grande, where a different lifestyle is appreciated; we'll see natives with typical and traditional attires, they are very friendly, you will always be welcome anywhere here.

We'll have lunch fresh fish: trout and mackerel and enjoy a splendid lakeside landscape with imposing mountains of the Cordillera Real of Bolivia.

On Taquile we will see comparable quality fabrics only with looms Paracas and Egypt.

In November 2005, the fabric of Taquile was declared "Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity" by UNESCO to preserve tissues (symbols and uses) that are passed from parents to children. This tour includes a visit to the floating islands of Uros.
