FAST INCA TRAIL
This is a variant of the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu. This prepared especially for those people who do not have much free time to do the classic route of 4 days. The total hike is about 43 miles and takes 3 days, including a day visit to the archaeological complex of Machu Picchu.
DAY 1.- CUSCO – KM. 82 – PACAYMAYO (9 WALKING HOURS).
At approximately 4:30 am, we pick you up from your hotel to go in bus to whereabouts "Km 82". After spending control, we started the walk, along the Urubamba River, reaching Llactapata, an important archaeological site. Continuing the walk up Huayllabamba where we get our box lunch. We continue ascending to cross the highest pass of Warmiwañusca, 4,200 m.a.s.l. That is the highest point of the trek, although we will breathe with difficulty, we will be surprised by the breathtaking panoramic view of two beautiful geographical views.
The entire hike take us about 9 hours to reach the first campsite in Pacaymayo.
DAY 2.- PACAYMAYO – WIÑAYWAYNA (9 WALKING HOURS)
Start walking surprised by the stunning panoramic views of beautiful geographical views, mountains and glaciers, and semi-tropical valley. The hike includes a visit to the archaeological complex Runkurakay, Sayacmarca, Phuyupatamarca, Wiñayhuayna and we will camping in Wiñayhuayna.
DAY 3.- WIÑAYHUAYNA – MACHU PICCU – CUSCO
After breakfast, very early, we go heading to "Inti Punku" (Sun Gate), this is the entrance to the ancient Inca city of Machu Picchu from this point we will have an unforgettable experience. After descending, we will visit this magical place and we will have a guided tour about 2 ½ hours. In the afternoon take the train back to Cusco, which can be with a connection in bus.
