LARES MACHU PICCHU
The Lares Valley is located north of the Sacred Valley of the Incas, their bridleways were used in Inca times to cross the eastern Andes, where you can see towering snow-capped mountains whose waters shape splendid emerald lagoons, others look outbreak hot springs. Since time immemorial, Andean shepherds and shearers living in these areas, herding their llamas and alpacas with the music of their quenas dressed in their typical costumes. DAY 1.- CUSCO – LARES – HUACAWASI.
Pick you up from your hotel at 06:00 am. We leave Cusco in direction "Lares", arrive at 12:00 hrs approx. Visit the thermo-medicinal baths "Lares" then we will have a delicious lunch. Then we start the walk enjoying the beautiful places of the village of "Huacawasi". We will have dinner and spend the night here.
DAY 2.- HUACAWASI CHALHUAYOCCOCHA.
Early in the morning after breakfast we start our journey enjoying the beautiful ravines of the place, also we will go by the open of Huacahuasikasa pass at 4300 masl will continue walking to camp near the lagoon "Chalhuayoccocha" instead of our second campsite and dinner.
DAY 3.- CHALHUAYOCCOCHA – YANAHUARA – OLLANTAYTAMBO.
Breakfast. Then we continue our hiking going population "Yanahuara" where we board a car to continue our journey towards "Ollantaytambo" important time of the Quechua place, we will take the train from "Ollantaytambo" en route to "Aguas Calientes" (Machu Picchu town).
DAY 4.- MACHU PICCHU.
Very early we headed to the citadel of Machu Picchu, where we will have a guided tour, then free time to explore and if possible up to "Huayna Picchu". In the afternoon return to Cusco.
